when it still takes a view days or weeks until the first spring flowers appear out of the melting snow … there is a great longing for nature’s lovely remedies …
fortunately enough i have picked some flowers the year before and thoroughly dried them to put them into a tea pot … for some summer feeling and fragance in a hot tea.
usually i start collecting flowers as early as in spring,
time for violets and primulas
soon they’ll be followed by elderflower trees in bloom
and milfoil, marigold, lavender, st. john’s wort and roses …
all of them make lovely tea and all of them have profound healing qualities …
